mom body.
So I posted this photo yesterday on my Instagram story. I debated posting it, but having just finished a 4 mile run on a 70 degree February day had me feeling optimistic about life.
This morning as I was looking at who viewed this photo (we all do it) I felt embarrassed. I was looking at my muffin top and I was wondering who in their right mind would have posted that photo. But I'm a mom.
Thats right I'm a mom!!
I try my best to exercise and eat right, but sometimes I sit on my butt and eat a whole package of gum drop cinnamon hearts (true story). I love my son more than anything and I know when he looks at me he doesn't see muffin top or stretch marks. He sees his mommy.

Growing a baby was hard and taking care of him is proving to be just as difficult. I didn't expect my body to change so much, but I wear my new skin proudly. At least I try to.
I support the mom-bod and I think all moms need to love their bodies.
This is me the day I found out I was pregnant.
This is me 8 days before Albert was born, and 40lbs heavier.
