albert's first birthday.

The week leading up to Albert's 1st birthday I made myself crazy making homemade decorations, planning a menu, making cakes, and setting up a sundae bar. I knew it was going to only be family but I still stressed about every detail. I attended a birth (#doulalife) just a few days before his party which added to my nervous anxious energy but in the end everything went perfectly.  Sadly I didn't take any photos of the decorations and cleaned up almost everything by the end of his party (nesting much?!) either way it was still a great day and Albert loved every moment of it.

Mom Moment: I can't believe Albert is already a year old. He is opinionated, loving, silly, curious and determined. I'm so proud of who he has become and I can't wait to watch him develop into an amazing big brother.
